Leeds United Premier League 2020/2021 season recap

Leeds United have had an exceptional season following their promotion to the first division of English football. Their first match of the season was against Liverpool, the defending champions of the Premier League. The match was an intense one, and Leeds United, impressively, managed to score 3 goals. However, Liverpool won 4-3, with a late winner from the penalty spot scored by Mohamed Salah in the 88th minute.

Leeds won their next 2 games, and even drew with Manchester City after that, who came second the previous season and ended up winning the league this season. Leeds finished the season in 9th place, which is extremely impressive for a team that got promoted to the league that season. They won 18 of their league matches, drew 5 and lost 15.
