Chelsea vs Leicester City was a highly anticipated FA Cup final. Both the teams are fighting for 3rd position in the Premier League, and Leicester are ahead of Chelsea by only 2 points.

The first half ended without a goal scored at Wembley Stadium. However, Chelsea was clearly the stronger side, with 12% more possession than their opponents. Although neither of the teams had a shot on target, Chelsea had more shots (8) than Leicester (5). Chelsea also had more passes (262) than Leicester (218). The second half started, and the first shot on target of the match was from Chelsea. However, the next shot on target ended up being from Youri Tielemans from outside the box. That shot went flying into the top-left corner of the net.

Chelsea had a chance to equalize in the 87th minute with a powerful shot from Mason Mount. However, Kasper Schmeichel prevented Chelsea from scoring with an amazing save. Two minutes later, Thiago Silva sent a great ball Ben Chilwell’s way, who shot the ball, which found the back of the net following a deflection from Wes Morgan. However, the goal was disallowed after being checked by VAR, as Chilwell was offside. Although Chelsea had more shots (13) than Leicester (6), more possession than them by 30% and 254 passes more than them, Leicester scored with their one and only shot on target, which Chelsea failed to do with any of their 3 shots on target or from any of their 10 corners (6 more than Leicester). As a result, The Foxes won their first ever FA Cup.
