There have been many exceptional duos in the Premier League this season, with the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford, Patrick Bamford and Raphinha and Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mané. However, none of them reached the standards of Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min this season in the Premier League.
Harry Kane has scored 21 goals and provided 13 assists in the league after 30 appearances. This makes him the top scorer and player who has provided the most assists so far.
One of his teammates, Son Heung-Min, is also having one of the best, if not the best season of his entire career. After 32 appearances (1 as a substitute), Son has scored 15 goals and provided 9 assists this season. He has scored the 4th most goals and provided the 5th most assists in the league so far.
The remarkable scoring and assisting of this duo started in the second game of the season. After a 1-0 defeat at home against Everton, the Spurs were determined to show their fans that their form had not dropped. They won their second match of the season 5-2, away against Southampton. After the first goal of the match was scored by Danny Ings for Southampton, Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min decided to show the Saints what they were made of. The next four goals were all scored by Son Heung-Min, with Harry Kane providing the assist for every single one of those goals. Harry Kane even scored a goal himself in the 82nd minute. The 90th minute penalty goal scored by Danny Ings was too little too late for the Saints.
The duo continued to impress throughout the season and are now (after 33 matches) the Premier league duo with the most goal involvements in the tournament, with 58 of them.
