Saudi Arabia shock Argentina with 2-1 win

Argentina were one of the favorites to win the FIFA World Cup going into the tournament, with their captain Lionel Messi hoping to win the trophy in what seems to be his last World Cup. The favorites took the lead early in the 10th minute with a penalty scored by their captain. Argentina scored 3 more goals in just the first half, but each one was disallowed. Nevertheless, Argentina was clearly the more dominant side. However, Saleh Alshehri equalized early in the second half and Salem Aldawsari took the lead just 5 minutes later. Unfortunately, Al Shahrani was injured in stoppage time and had to be substituted. Although Argentina finished the match with far more possession, shots and passes, Saudi Arabia earned the valuable 3 points and currently lead the group.
