Real Madrid club legend and 5 time UEFA Champions League winner Gareth Bale has left the club. He has had an incredible career, although he became rather injury-prone towards the end of his career at Real. The highlight of his career is arguably the brace he scored in the 2018 Champions League final against Liverpool. One of the goals was a sensational and historic bicycle kick.
However, a deal for his free transfer to MLS team Los Angeles FC has been agreed upon. The contract is for 1 year, with an option to extend it. This signing will be LAFC’s second signing of a football legend this transfer window, as they have already signed Giorgio Chiellini as well.
