There have been talks of Lukaku returning to Inter Milan on loan. The striker hasn’t been happy at Chelsea, and reportedly wants to return to Inter. His season has been below average, despite a decent start. However, what may be keeping Lukaku at Chelsea is the fact that The Blues want players from Inter in return.
The Belgian has not at all had a good relationship with manager Thomas Tuchel, which may be a reason for his desire to leave Chelsea. It seems unlikely that he will continue to play for them in the long run. He finished this Premier League season with only 8 goals, whereas he scored 3 times as many league goals the season prior to that, when he was at Inter. Perhaps he can return to his scoring form if he goes to Inter on loan.
