Vinicius Jr. has been an integral part of Real Madrid’s fantastic season. He was LaLiga’s 3rd top scorer and assister this season, with 17 league goals and 10 league assists. In the Champions League, the Brazilian winger had the joint second most assists, and scored the only goal of the final.
Vini has now signed a contract with Los Blancos until 2026. The agreement is to be announced in July, and the release clause is a billion Euros. Although Real wanted him to sign the contract till 2028, he did not, as it could later cause problems due to the salary. Meanwhile, Vini’s salary will be increased, putting him among the highest paid players of the club.
