Arsenal are attempting to make serious changes to their squad and that can be seen through their attempt to sign Brazilian star Raphinha.
Arsenal had their first bid rejected by Leeds United. Their second bid of £70m (£55m+£15m in bonuses) has made them the front runners for this signing followed by North London rivals Spurs. Chelsea also have their eye on Raphinha but would prefer to sign Sterling. The Leeds United player wanted to join Barcelona at the start of the transfer window but due to their ongoing financial issues that doesn’t seem possible.
Arsenal are looking to guarantee their spot in the top 4 next season and this signing will be a major factor next season. Raphinha ended the season with 11 goals and 3 assists. With a possible front 3 of Bukayo Saka Gabriel Jesus and Raphinha it is clear that Arsenal are going to be a top team next season.
